With our standard central control systems including CAN bus system (Controller Area Network), an extensive portfolio is being used for various industries and areas: from the compact i/o module for small vehicles to the freely programmable central control unit for large vehicles, such as fire-fighting vehicles and complex command vehicles (ELW).
Using the freely programmable development environment Codesys V3.5, you can react flexibly and individually to your customer's requests for modification. Thanks to the integrated SD slots on the central controls, software updates can be easily carried out later by the user or the technician. This reflects our commitment to customer-friendly products.

How can the CAN bus system be enhanced?
With not only one CAN bus system, but three independently running CAN interfaces (Controller Area Network 1: proprietary protocol (inomatic CAN), CAN 2: ABH-CAN, interior space CAN, CAN 3: CiA447, FireCan, proprietary CAN system), the central controls offer, besides various inputs and outputs, sufficient options to control further CAN bus compatible components.
In addition, every system is LIN bus compatible and has an integrated buzzer for acoustic warning, which emits a signal in case of low voltage, fuse failure or other faults. The control inputs can be controlled with plus/minus potential and can be partially switched over as analogue voltage inputs. The majority of outputs is loadable with 5A and partially with up to 15A.
Areas of Application
The CAN bus system is essential for the operation of special-purpose vehicles (e.g. ambulances, rescue vehicles, command vehicles, fire-fighting vehicles or police vehicles). This is because it offers a space-saving solution that is always being used when more comprehensive logic links are required. The control system in the vehicle includes the special signaling system with the interface CiA447, interior and exterior lighting (Interior-Light, Trauma-Light), climate and light mast control via FireCan as well as data processing of the battery management systems.
