Control panels with haptic embossing

In order to further improve the ease of finding the buttons on the operating units, we have developed a practical solution in cooperation with a renowned German rescue service to further improve the haptics of the front foils.

By means of a transparent elevation around the respective buttons, a clearly perceptible embossing of the individual button has been added as an option in addition to the visual location and function illumination. The embossing allows the driver to almost blindly feel the necessary button with the respective function. A brief distraction of the driver by looking directly at the control panel can thus be significantly reduced.

BT2017 – part no. 01068.0.02.03
