Battery management (BMS) is an important issue for caravans and motorhomes: The vehicle needs to be supplied with electricity all the time. Battery Computer in the Motorhome
When you are on the way in the caravan or motorhome, the vehicle turns from a mere transport vehicle into the centre of your everyday life. Therefore it is important to monitor the vehicle supply and to explicitly have an eye on the as-is state of the battery. We guarantee this with the intelligent battery computer (IBC) in combination with the battery sensor (IBS) for the motorhome. All relevant battery data in the vehicle can be read off a 2.4-inch display. The two additional outputs on the display allow you to react to corresponding battery events by parameterising the battery computer in the motorhome.
Especially smart – the integrated CAN bus System
In this area, too, the CAN bus system facilitates work, records and sends various parameters: such as the control of the complete interior lighting, the heating or air conditioning system or the external awning and satellite dish (if it is an electric motor). Fresh and waste water fill levels, temperature display or the status of the energy supply. With its 2 integrated LIN interfaces, the intelligent battery computer is designed for motorhomes and can be combined directly with the IBS sensors.
Exactly for your area
The battery computer can be used in all types of motorhomes - and everywhere in the vehicle: whether in the driver cabin, at the side rail, near the entrance or in the rear of the vehicle. It is also suitable for the boat sector, by the way. Since it is individually parameterisable, for instance in order to set certain threshold values for specific functions (e.g. a buzzer for undervoltage), the battery computer does not only improve the motorhome or boat functionally, it also makes it comprehensible.
