Inomatic Sensors (Battery Monitors and Temperature Sensors)

In order to collect relevant data from your vehicle, we can offer you various sensors for your electronics. Besides RFID systems (active and passive), our sensors can be assigned to three main categories: battery monitors/sensors, temperature sensors and RFID systems. The battery monitors and temperature sensors are being used in very different areas: for low voltage detection in vehicles, in rescue services for monitoring infusions, or for tool presence checks in industry.

Battery Monitors/Sensors

These inomatic products result from an outstanding engineering performance as well: the sensors are available in various sizes and are compatible for car starter and auxiliary batteries with a voltage between 12 and 24 V. Furthermore, they can be used at a maximum current of ±1500A. They are also user-friendly as they can be easily mounted on the ground terminal of most standard car batteries (starter battery, AGM or GEL batteries).

The highlight among our battery monitors and sensors is the intelligent battery sensor (IBS). It is the central core of the energy management in the vehicle and automatically collects several parameters, e.g. regarding the charge level, the battery age and the expected startability, which is calculated algorithmically.

Temperature Sensors

They are used to protect or monitor the interior temperature or to monitor the temperature of refrigerators or infusions in rescue or ambulance vehicles. To meet these special requirements, they withstand a temperature range of -40 to +85 C°. They can be easily adapted to the controls with the respective cable set, and the range is immediately available in CoDeSys.

Your Systems Supplier

Most of our battery monitors and temperature sensors are compatible with other components of our product range and together they form an optimal unit without having to meet special requirements. The same applies to the sensors: Collected data e.g. on voltage, charge level or temperature can be read out by the sensor, recorded in the battery computer, shown on our 2.4-inch display or managed in an inomatic control system. These electronics offer you transparent protection. The driver has an eye on the vehicle at all times and can, for example, detect low voltage at an early stage.
